Is bowhunting allowed in Zimbabwe?

Bowhunting is legal in Zimbabwe. There needs to be a video of the hunt and like with normal hunting there needs to be a National Parks officer on the hunt to ensure that the correct hunting protocol is observed. Bowhunting is not allowed in National Parks. It can only be done in private conservancies.

Also hunting with a bow requires that the hunter is very close to the animal, especially lion, elephant and buffalo. The bow makes a noise when the arrow is released and this gives an animal a second to move and the arrow can hit the wrong body part.
